The 3rd annual Jazz at Congo Square Festival will take place on Sunday, September 10th in Armstrong Park. The festival is a free celebration of New Orleans music, food, culture, and traditions featuring live entertainment from 1 pm to 7 pm. The festival will showcase a variety of artists who have contributed tremendously to our city’s local scene and the international music community at-large. There will also be local food, art and merchandise vendors as well as musical performaces by Delfeayo Marsalis and the Uptown Jazz Orchestra, Luther Grey and The Congo Square Drummers, Treme Brass Band and Anjelika “Jelly” Joseph.
Jazz at Congo Square was created in 2021 to help promote and celebrate the significance of Congo Square. This year, there will be over 30 local vendors on-site, offering the finest in food, jewelry, and arts and craft items throughout the day.
