Queen B is back and headed for a massive tour this summer. The Grammy award winning singer and songwriter posted on her Instagram account on Wednesday, sharing the news with fans that she would be hitting the road again for the "Renaissance World Tour." Thie will be her first solo tour since 2016.
Beyoncé will kick off the Renaissance Tour on Wednesday, May 10th at Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. Followed by stops in 14 overseas cities including in London, Barcelona and Amsterdam.
The North American part of her tour will start on Saturday, July 8th in Toronto, Canada at Rodgers Centre and will include concerts in 25 cities in the United States including: New York, Miami, Philadelphia, Nashville, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Boston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and more. The Renaissance tour will wrap up on Friday, September 27th at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Her last tour, "One the Run II" with husband Jay-Z, was the 3rd highest grossing tour of the 2019, bringing in over $253 million, according to Wikipedia.
Beyoncé released her new album "Renaissance" in July 2022. It was her first solo studio release since "Lemonade", in 2016. Beyoncé and "Renaissance" are nominated for nine Grammy Awards, which airs this Sunday night. She earned both a record and song of the year nomination for her hit single "Break My Soul," while "Renaissance," has earned a nomination for album of the year. Entertainment Weekly called "Renaissance" one of the 10 best albums of 2022.
