If you’ve been following along on my Instagram. I’m currently traveling here for a few weeks and I wanted to show you our first stop–Phuket.
Phuket is one of my favorite destinations for the reason that I get a feeling of intense happiness when exploring the beaches, their amazing culture, food, and visiting top destinations like Maya bay in Koh Phi Phi,and its surrounding islands.This place is definitely one to steal your heart if you love adventure, relaxing, and just living a carefree life. I came here two years ago and I’ve been feeling so so blessed to have had the chance to come back and experience this beautiful place once again. I was welcomed so warmly by the Accor Hotel Group in both Novotel Phuket Karon and Novotel Phuket Surin and I guess this experience is indeed sweeter the second time around.
Right now, I’m still traveling with my friend Cheyser,who is an amazing blogger btw, and we’re fulfilling our lifelong dream of traveling to Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Siem Reap, and Sihanoukville. I know, it sounds so exciting and I just can’t wait for what’s ahead too! With this, we are also happy to announce that we will also be launching Destination Duo, a collaborative blog between us, that features our adventures, mishaps, lessons learned, and tutorials so follow along the hashtag to see what it’s all about, and stay tuned
Moving on, our first two days consisted of lounging by the pool, indulging ourselves with relaxing massages, and mouth-watering Thai Cuisine from breakfast until dinner. Novotel’s service was outstanding in every way. Their facility just ensured a great stay for the guests, including ourselves. Every corner greeted us with great views, and it was perfect for our first few days in this vibrant city.
Novotel Surin Beach Resort
A tranquil place perfect for a quick getaway. Only a few minutes from Surin beach, Patong Airport, and Bangla Road, this place is great for those who want to experience Phuket comfortably. As soon as we arrived, we treated ourselves to a hearty breakfast and a morning dip by the pool. A mouthwatering Thai- Set was specially prepared for us by their resident chef, Jason for lunch and I tell you–sitting by the pool, eating a savory meal with a good friend, and just soaking the beauty all around was an experience we were keeping for the books. After that, we were treated to a swedish massage to cap off the afternoon, and it was the perfect ending to a blissful day.
Novotel Phuket Karon
This resort is perfect for all types of travelers- I remember calling my mom just to let her see the place because I got so excited as soon as I stepped foot here and sure enough, it did not disappoint. Bright and Vibrant, the interior was spot on and the place gave off a very hip and cozy vibe. We spent the whole day here just sipping on fresh coconut juice, relaxing and enjoying their amenities. What I loved about this place is the fact the you can do so many things here alone, and not to mention that the beach was only a 10-minute walk away. 
Overall, our first few days in Phuket was off to a great start, and right now, I’m at Koh Phangan writing this blog post, so stick around as it’s only about to get better and better.
