On the evening of Wednesday, November 10th, 2021, the Moraga Police Department sent a missing person alert requesting urgent assistance in locating a missing local man.

According to the alert, Asher Grinner, who is 44 years old, left his home on foot on Wednesday morning at around 9:30AM. As of approximately 5:30 pm, he had not been heard from since the morning, according to the police department.

The alert describes Grinner as a white adult male, five feet and eight inches tall, who has brown hair and brown eyes. In a photograph of Grinner released by the Moraga Police Department, Grinner is clean-shaven, but the department indicates that he now has a full beard. Grinner was last seen wearing dark clothing.

The police department describes Grinner as being in good physical condition. Grinner's home is located on Camino Peral in Moraga, California, across from Moraga Commons Park and near Saint Mary's Road. It is possible that Grinner is in the area of his home or on the nearby trails.

Social media posts indicate that members of the Moraga Community and other local community groups have already begun to search for Grinner in the area around his home. According to the Moraga Police Department, anyone who has had contact with Grinner since 9:30am on the morning of 11/10, or who believes that they have seen him, should contact the Moraga police department dispatch.

Citizens may contact the department at 925-284-5010 if they have any information related to Grinner's whereabouts or if they believe that they have seen him in the area.
