Contra Costa Transit Village is an Up-And-Coming Place to Live, Work and Most of all Commute

Contra Costa Transit Village is still being built out and has suffered some pandemic-related setbacks, but it's a great place on the border of Walnut Creek and Pleasant Hill to live, work, and commute into the city. Anchored by the Pleasant Hill BART station, the Village is a popular destination for business travelers who want to stay outside San Francisco, but still have access to the city and to local amenities. It also has one of my favorite East Bay restaurants, and the Avalon provides upscale apartments for people who want to live near BART and commute downtown.
