Crushing Wild Brown Trout on Jerkbaits!

While it may not officially be winter yet, it certainly feels like it! During this time of colder weather, the fish begin to slow down to save energy. This means fish slow! I love jerkbaits in the warmer months because they can be fished aggressively and fish will crush them. In winter, you have to really ease up on the speed. If you get the cadence right, even in the dead of winter fish will crush them.
