Desert Trout Fishing the Salt River AZ! (Riverside Catch & Cook)

It had been a while since I hit up the salt river, AZ. My dad and I headed out in search of stocked rainbow trout. The river was very high! This lead to some early morning struggles but we eventually figured out the fish. The salt river is located in the desert of Arizona and is stocked with trout all the way until June! The cool river water makes these trout able to survive throughout the year. It is always fun catching limits of these tasty fish out here on the river. Today we did a catch and cook on the salt river itself, providing a freshly caught rainbow trout to eat on the bank. Catch and cook rainbow trout is something I want to do more of because I catch so many of them!
