Trout Limits, Catfish, and HUGE Sunfish! (Urban AZ Pond Fishing)

Urban Arizona trout fishing is slowly coming to a close! The last stocking will take place next week, then that will be it for the urban ponds until next winter! Go get some Arizona trout locally while you still can! Today we actually targeted catfish along with our trout, and ended up catching a huge red ear sunfish as well! Powerbait was the hot bait for catching keepers, although the small trout magnet worked like a mini jig caught the most fish. Arizona trout fishing season has been amazing for us this year, and as we wind down get ready for some more canal content! Only a month or so until the ponds begin the catfish stock!
