Roadside Ditch Fishing in Urban Arizona

I am continuing to explore these canals! Arizona has not let me down so far! Canal fishing is quickly becoming my new favorite type of fishing! This day we fished a literal puddle of water that was separated by a shallow section of water. Ditch fishing is what I liked to call it. Roadside fishing can be very productive if you are in the right spot. Talapia and bass were the fish we were able to catch today! We even switched up rigs a bit and caught them bobber fishing. Worms were the bait of choice, as most species of tilapia and bass eat worms. We did lose a fair number of fish also, so who knows what else is down there. We did not catch any big tilapia or bass, but it was fun to get out and find a new unique fishing spot. I did do some more fishing later this day, but you will have to wait till Sunday to see that!

Hello all, My name is mark Pickett and I love fishing and exploring the outdoors. I have been fishing “seriously”for about 11 years now. I film fishing videos a few times a week and I am excited to share that all with the people online. Fishing is my passion, so I am always trying to bring the best content as possible. As time goes on, I look to improve the quality of my videos. Right now I do a lot of fishing for big catfish, but I enjoy catching multispecies as well. Enjoy the videos!
