SHALLOW WATER CHANNEL CATFISH! (3ft of Water)
Oh man this was an epic trip! Me and wifey headed out to the Shenandoah river in VA to camp for a few days. We ended up catching tons of sunfish (fresh bait) creek chubs, fallfish, and a good amount of channel catfish. These catfish were very shallow! The water in this river is about waist deep all the way across, so maybe 4feet deep max. These fish fight so hard in this fast moving water. We used the creek chubs and sunfish for bait, and literally fished from our campsite. When I say these fish were shallow, I definitely mean it! This type of bank fishing is super cool to me, and I can’t wait to do it again. You can’t beat extremely shallow water channel catfish.

Hello all, My name is mark Pickett and I love fishing and exploring the outdoors. I have been fishing “seriously”for about 11 years now. I film fishing videos a few times a week and I am excited to share that all with the people online. Fishing is my passion, so I am always trying to bring the best content as possible. As time goes on, I look to improve the quality of my videos. Right now I do a lot of fishing for big catfish, but I enjoy catching multispecies as well. Enjoy the videos!
