PULLING EEL out of the ROCKS!
This is the first part of the California adventure! I have about 4 more videos on deck from CA so this is the first! My dad, and 2 best friends Daniel and Will headed out to a spot we know very well. It was nonstop action from when we arrived to when we left. Eel after eel, and fish after fish. Poke poling is something I learned about 9-10 years ago, and I have loved doing it ever since. Monkeyfaced eel are one of the common species caught with this method. They live in small cracks and rocks close to shore and they taste amazing. Along with eel you can also catch cabezon, rockfish, and of course crab. California poke poling is fairly common along the coast, and has been a tradition for many years. I always love heading back to the west coast to fish, and it is always nice visiting friends and family.
Hello all, My name is mark Pickett and I love fishing and exploring the outdoors. I have been fishing “seriously”for about 11 years now. I film fishing videos a few times a week and I am excited to share that all with the people online. Fishing is my passion, so I am always trying to bring the best content as possible. As time goes on, I look to improve the quality of my videos. Right now I do a lot of fishing for big catfish, but I enjoy catching multispecies as well. Enjoy the videos!
