Catching Catfish In THE MUD!

Man were the catfish out! The bite was very finicky, but we all managed to catch some fish! This bank fishing spot is very muddy as you can tell, but it just naturally attracts fish. The baits we were using were white perch and shad. The bigger pieces seemed to be getting bigger bites. This was also after chasing shad all morning so we were all pretty tired. The Potomac river is on fire right now, at least for bank fishing. The spring catfish bite has arrived! Go get yourself some fresh bait and get out there. Some content I am focusing on this time of year is flathead and possibly snakehead soon. The flathead bite has also been on fire for me so look forward to more of that content. The weather was not exactly on our side, as we had flurries of rain and high winds. This played really no effect on the bite tho. You can’t beat spring bank fishing for catfish!

Hello all, My name is mark Pickett and I love fishing and exploring the outdoors. I have been fishing “seriously”for about 11 years now. I film fishing videos a few times a week and I am excited to share that all with the people online. Fishing is my passion, so I am always trying to bring the best content as possible. As time goes on, I look to improve the quality of my videos. Right now I do a lot of fishing for big catfish, but I enjoy catching multispecies as well. Enjoy the videos!
