(Alabama)- Within the past few weeks, an Alabama woman was convicted of murdering her boyfriend's 3-year-old child, Kaiden Garner, back in 2020. Around August 24, 2023, Yalrick Pride (23) can be seen on video being put into the back of an Alabama patrol car after hearing the jury's verdict; however, she says the father committed the act and should be serving time instead of her.

Handcuffed Pride can be heard saying, " They're protecting a murderer. He knows he did this, and they are letting him get away with it. I don't got no warrant for this. I got kids. I got a family."

Some commenters on Youtube, believe she is innocent as well. One commenter, @tracie806, stated the following:

I don’t know what to think of this! She seems so genuine. I just pray if they’ve convicted the wrong person that just as will prevail prayers to all involved.

Another commenter, @israelfalcon1160 also replied by stating:

I was a courtroom officer for over 24yrs. I've heard many people cry for many reasons. It's something about the way she was crying that's telling me lies were told on her. I believe she should've spoken up for the child and will regret that for the rest of her life. But the father's lies will come out one day.
