North Carolina authorities continue to search for a Raeford, North Carolina man who mysteriously disappeared after leaving his home in 2010.
Roger Jermaine Chambers is a married, friendly man who often helped the homeless community, the Charley Project reports. On September 4, 2010, 35-year-old Roger left his home in the 3600 block of Army Road in Raeford, North Carolina around 6:15 pm. He visited a friend in Red Springs, North Carolina. He spoke with his wife via telephone and saw a friend at a gas station on Highway 211, just outside of Red Springs. and reportedly traveled into Robeson County.
His wife called Roger back at 9:48 pm, but his phone went straight to voicemail. She fell asleep, and when she awoke at 2:00 am, Roger was still not at home.
She has never seen or heard from her husband again.
Roger was driving a green 1993 Toyota Camry with tinted windows, chrome wheels, and North Carolina license plate number YZF-4849.
There has been no activity on his bank account since he vanished, and his loved ones stated it was uncharacteristic of him to disappear for any amount of time.
According to the Fayetteville Observer, the Hoke County Sheriff's Office followed up on multiple leads in the investigation into the disappearance of Roger Chambers, but no suspects have been named, and charges have been filed.
Roger Jermaine Chambers and his vehicle have never been found.
