Dymashal Cullins vanished from Atlanta, Georgia on August 28, 2003, and Marcie Peterson vanished on October 30, 2003, from Marietta, Georgia, 20 miles from Atlanta, reports The Charley Project.

Dee Dee and her husband married in 1999 but later separated. In 2003, the couple discussed reconciling, and her husband moved back home in August 2003.

On August 28, 2003, Dee Dee borrowed a friend’s jeep to run errands for the day.

Witnesses saw her around 11:52 am on Maryland Avenue and her mother, Viola Corbett, spoke with Dee Dee later, around 7:00 pm.

Viola said Dee Dee seemed happy and told her mother she was dating someone new during their phone call.

That is the last time anyone spoke with Dee Dee.

She hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

According to Namus, her friend’s red 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee was located three weeks later at the Kensington Apartments in the 3500 block of Clubhouse Drive in Decatur, Georgia.

Marcie Peterson, a mother of five living in Marietta, Georgia, owned a mortgage business.

In 2003, she served a few months on a misdemeanor charge, which caused her to lose her business.

Marcie was estranged from her husband.

After her release from jail, they were trying to reconcile their relationship, reports The Charley Project.

Marcie’s family believes the two met on the internet.

Her family was living at the StudioPlus, an extended stay motel on Cumberland Parkway, near Interstate 285.

According to Namus, on October 30, 2003, around 11:00 am, Marcie was last seen in the 2400 block of Cumberland Parkway.

That is the last known sighting of Marcie.

No one has seen or heard from her since.

Before her disappearance, Marcie told her mother that she had borrowed $30,000 from a man.

Marcie told her mother the man was now trying to kill her. She said he attempted to run her over with his car.

Authorities also questioned a man who had helped pay for Marcie’s education.

Authorities discovered that man had been using an alias all along.

Neither man has been named as a suspect in her case, and their names were not released.
