Unlike the initial Mid-Term election cycle from a couple of weeks ago, Republican Senatorial candidate Herschel Walker has a new advantage. This time, he has the campaign support and endorsement of a very popular Governor in Brian Kemp, who just recently won re-election by a significant margin over perennial runner-up, Stacey Abrams.

But even before receiving Kemp’s endorsement, all of the most trusted and reputable polls were showing the former football superstar in the lead as he faces off against Democratic incumbent Raphael Warnock.

This could be because of the efficacy of the newest wave of negative television and radio advertisements airing against Warnock, which feature live videos of Warnock’s ex-wife accusing him of everything from lying and openly being a good actor, to attempting to run her over with the family car after an argument and running from the process server when they attempted to serve him with court papers for failure to pay his court-ordered child support obligations.

For your convenience, we’ve embedded roughly 90 seconds of the Atlanta Police Department Body Cam footage of Warnock’s Ex-wife as she describes to officers how he hit her with the car.

Of course, we can’t be sure if the cause of Warnock’s slipping numbers are the result of the Walker campaign’s negative ad campaign, his ex-wife’s now public attacks, the endorsement and campaigning assistance of Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, or any combination of them all. The simple truth is that Raphael Warnock is now training in every reputable poll we could find, and that gap seems to be widening daily.

According to the most recent set of polls taken by Reuters/Ipsos, Fox 5 Atlanta Insider Advantage, Atlanta News First, Trafalgar Group, Data for Progress, and the ECU Center for Survey Research, Raphael Warnock is indeed trailing Herschel Walker in each of them.

Obviously, there is no poll that can accurately predict the results of any election, and we will continue to keep you up to date on any breaking developments as we get closer and closer to closing out the 2022 mid-term election cycle.
