The Kernersville Spring Folly is a large event in Kernersville, North Carolina that attracts approximately 30,000 visitors from all over for a weekend of wholesome family entertainment. This event will be held rain or shine! Note that pets are not allowed at this event.
Starting Friday at 6:00 pm, vendors, musicians, carnival rides and much more will crowd the streets of Downtown Kernersville until 10:00 pm.
On Saturday, the fun and excitement will continue, so you can catch the same vendors if you did not see them on Friday. There will be various bands to listen to and dance to as well as a variety of food. Hours are 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
On Sunday, the carnival rides and fair food will remain open at Harmon Park for the final day of the Spring Folly. Hours are 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

Craft and Commercial Vendors
Arts & Craft Vendors are set up along North Main Street. Commercial Vendors are set up along East Mountain Street. For both A&C and Commercial Vendors, the hours are Friday May 5th from 6pm to 10pm and Saturday May 6th from 10am to 10pm.
Beer Garden
Kernersville Brewing Company is providing a designated drinking area. The beer garden is located in the Musten and Crutchfield parking lot. Hours are Friday May 5th from 6pm to 9pm, last pour at 8pm and Saturday May 6th from 12pm to 8pm, last our at 7pm.
Anyone is welcome in the Beer Garden, Only 21 and older are allowed to drink. Designated drinking area only.
Old Salem Chapter of the Antique Automobile Club of America
Saturday May 6th from 10am to 3pm. Bring the whole family by the Cruise-In! Admire a grand collection of antique cars of all different shapes and sizes. Located near the Farmers Market in the parking lot of Town Hall.
Clowns Face Painting
It’s not a Spring Folly experience without kids face painting! Stop by the booth located on South Main Street to pick from a variety of options and leave the Folly with a fun, temporary moment.
Chain Reaction Action Sports BMX
Saturday May 6th at 5pm, 6pm, and 8pm experience half pipes bike jumps and more. Located near the Farmers Market in the parking lot of Town Hall.
Captain Jim is Magic Show
A Kernersville favorite, on Saturday May 6th, Captain Jim’s shows are fun for the entire family. Join us on South Main for his show times and don’t forget to meet our stilt walker- Sky High Skyler! Showtimes are: 12pm, 2pm and 4pm.
Mountain Mike Chainsaw Artist
They call him Mountain Mike. He is a member of the 2nd place US Speed Carving Team. Join us at his location for live demonstrations of his hard work and talents. Friday Night Show times are: 7pm & 8pm. Saturday Show times are 11am, 1pm, and 3pm.

Kernersville Civitan Club:
We support over 23 organizations including the Salvation Army, YMCA, Shepherd Center and good citizen scholarships to East Forsyth and Glenn high schools. “We are excited to partner with the Project re3 Hope Center food bank this Spring Folly” The Projectre3 Hope Center in a food bank and clothing closet in Kernersville that provides free food and clothing to those in need. In 2023 the Hope Center has helped approx. 250 families (860 people) with food and clothes.
Kernersville Running Club:
All profits earned, go back into our community, through our school’s cross-country and Track programs. We also partnered with the Town of Kernersville to promote and provide the State Championship Cross Country meets at Ivey Redman Park (Besson Park)
Kernersville Family YMCA:
The Y will be using profits to support our summer camp scholarship fund, which runs for 13 weeks this summer and hosts over 150 kids per week, with over a 1/3 relying on scholarships to attend.
