A new café and wine bar for daters, networkers, and friends is scheduled to open this summer in Manhattan’s Nolita neighborhood.
Bumble Brew is going to be the first dating app cafe in NYC in partnership with Pasquale Jones, the Italian power-dining room from Delicious Hospitality Group. The restaurant will be located next to Pasquale Jones on Kenmare Street in the Nolita neighborhood downtown.
The menu is Italian-inspired, so you can expect homemade pasta, veggies and lots of shareable plates.
Inside Bumble Brew
The 3,760-square-foot will include an 80-seat dining room, a cocktail bar, a patio, and a private dining space that was designed by FLOAT Design Studio. The whole space is, of course, decorated in the signature yellow color of the Bumble brand.
Founders of the place expect to turn the cafe into an events hub similar to Bumble Hive, the previous project by Bumble, Inc that holds seminars with a food and drink option:

Also, as fitting for a women-run company, the music played in the cafe will be “a primarily women-based collection from across genres," according to the Bumble Brew website.
According to Julia Smith, Bumble’s head of brand partnerships, Bumble Brew idea was born to bring people together:
“At Bumble, we’re fueled by bringing people together to build genuine connections—both on and off the app. We’ve seen a resounding response to the Bumble Hive pop-ups we’ve hosted around the world and noticed a clear appetite for a permanent space where people could connect . . . We hope that people can gather at Bumble Brew and connect over an espresso or delicious meal, whether it’s with friends, a potential partner, or a new business connection.”
Opening Date of Bumble Brew
The Bumble Brew was initially planned to open for breakfast on July 24, then for lunch on July 31 and dinner on August 7. However, Bumble told Fast Company that the opening has been delayed:
“As is common with most new restaurant openings, we’ve had to address a few unexpected construction elements that we’re finalizing before opening in the next few days.”
A new opening date has not yet been announced. But the official website and social media channels are still displaying 'opening in summer 2021', so maybe we can expect Bumble Brew to be open very soon.
