We know how hard it can be to find a good thrift shop that will not only have a good selection of second-hand or vintage pieces but would be affordable as well.

So we made a list of the top-rated thrift shops and vintage stores in LA, so you wouldn't need to browse through them all.

Jet Rag

Jet Rag is the place to go if you are looking for the best bargains in Hollywood. No shop in LA or anywhere else can compete with their famous $1 Sunday Sales.

Due to the pandemic, their Sunday Sales are now held in an outdoor yard, so you don't have to worry about being elbowed in the rib while browsing through their collection.

Asides from Sundays, during the rest of the week you can still good deals at Jet Rag because almost everything in there is priced under $30.

The shop offers vintage clothing for both men and women and a lot of more modern pieces as well.

If you a fan of thrifting, then you probably have already heard about their iconic Melrose Avenue store. But they also have two other locations in Santa Monica and in Studio City.

Wasteland is the top spot for eclectic fashion pieces that are worn by rock stars, hipsters, the other fashion-forward people. They are best known for offering gently worn designer names with big discounts.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul

This is probably the largest thrift store in LA. It is located in this massive Lincoln Heights warehouse that you can spend hours browsing through.

You can find so many different things in such a huge selection. One thing for sure is that you will find a big variety of vintage fashion and accessories, plus lots of second-hand furniture, electronics, and appliances including refrigerators and stoves.

All the prices are super affordable and reasonable. Plus, it's a charity that helps the poor and homeless, so by shopping here you contribute to a good cause.
