New York City, NY

These are the most scenic walks in NYC that you can take this weekend

The Nerdy Me

New York City in the United States is one of the most popular cities around the globe.

Many people call it the city of bachelors. Thousands call it a city that never sleeps, and it has remained true to the name the people give it because the city truly never sleeps.

If you have been to NYC, you would be a witness to the crowd and fast-paced life there. Everyone is just running without so much as a second look, and one often wonders if they can find a moment of peace in this much-crowded city if they can take a walk and not hear the noise for a minute.

To their surprise, the answer to the question is yes! There are several scenic walks you can take in NYC to relax and feel refreshed.

Because let's be real. Even if you love the sound of the bustling city, sometimes it is nice to escape it all and have a few quiet moments.

Here are our top three recommendations!

1. Brooklyn Bridge Park

This park may be the most famous park in New York City and around the world. You can undoubtedly take a very scenic walk around the park and feel refreshed after a long day at work or even to end a well-spent day in the city as a tourist.

Even if people have not seen much of New York, they would have been to this park at least once because of the beautiful view of the city and East Side River.

There is something refreshing in pretending to be a tourist in your own city sometimes. Especially in times like this when any international travel is kind of limits for time being.

2. Carl Schurz Park

If you have watched Gossip Girl, you are most likely familiar with the Upper East Side in New York.

This park is located just there and has a tremendous amount of greenery. Anytime you feel like city life and pollution are tiring you out, you can take a walk here, and I guarantee you will feel better.

It has been a tourist site because of its beautiful green views overlooking the East Side River, making it one of the most visited parks in New York City.

You can even sit on the bench with some food and enjoy the view, and you will, indeed, feel light and happy just being there. Now that the weather is slowly becoming warmer, a picnic in a park sounds like a perfect idea.

3. Madison Avenue

If you like looking at luxurious streets with stylish and modern shops, designer stores and whatnot, this would be the perfect place for you to visit while you are in New York.

At night, the avenue is lit with countless lights that give life to the area, and the hustle-bustle of the New Yorkers make it look like a scene right out of a movie.

You can shop, eat and look around the avenue, and the walk would make you feel happy and relaxed. Many people who have lived in New York for a long time like visit Madison Avenue while they are not busy with work or school to enjoy the crowd, do some shopping and get away from their usual surrounding.
