Here is the latest edition of things to do in Maine this weekend. This weekend has some fun events to choose from if you want to get out of the house or find something to take the kids to. There is a chowder and chili chow down, several craft fairs, the Eastern Maine Sportsmen's Show, and more.
Saturday 3/11
Augusta: The Spring Fling Craft Fair will be held at the South Parish Congregational Church, 9 Church Street, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Come and enjoy local crafters and have lunch. There will be a luck of the draw raffle and door prizes.
Bar Harbor: The 5th annual Chowder and Chili Chowdown will be held at the Atlantic Oceanside, 119 Eden Street, from 5 to 7 p.m. Come and have fun tasting a variety of chowders and chilis and support Island Connections. $10 per person or $30 per family.
Bradley: Winter Fun in the Woods will be held at the Maine Forest and Logging Museum, 262 Government Road, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Come out to the grounds and enjoy our brand of fun in the snow. The Axewomen Loggers of Maine will be doing chainsaw demonstrations. The Lombard log haulers will be running. The blacksmith will be heating up metal and hot chocolate. Bring your snowshoes and explore the grounds. Admission is $5 per person ages 3 and up, with free admission for ages 3 and under.
Brunswick: The American Legion Post 20, located at 1 Columbus Drive, is holding a craft and vendor fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Dover-Foxcroft: The Dover Cove Farmers' Market will be upstairs at the Piscataquis County Ice Arena from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Exeter: A craft fair will be held at the Exeter Town Office, 1221 Stetson Road, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There is something for everyone with crafters and vendors. Breakfast and lunch will be available.
Orono: The Eastern Maine Sportsmen's Show will be held at the New Balance Field House at UMaine from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. More than 100 booths with plenty of programs. Learn how to become a Maine guide, call a moose, cook over a campfire, and tie a fly.
Waterville: Colby Symphony Orchestra 20th and 21st Century Concert at Lorimer Chapel at Colby College, 4000 Mayflower Hill Drive, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Sunday 3/12
Berwick: Farmers' market will be held at the Berwick Town Hall, 11 Sullivan Street, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come visit the Berwick Farmers Market and stock up on locally grown fresh vegetables, flowers, meats, cheeses, yogurts, mushrooms, as well as fresh baked breads and sweets, chocolate, herbs, and more! Every attendee has the chance to instantly win a Berwick Market T-shirt. Any Maine or New Hampshire veteran who visits will receive $20 in vouchers to spend at the market.

Rangeley: The Moose Dash Snowshoe Race will be held at the Rangeley Lakes Trail Center, 524 Saddleback Mountain Road, at 10:30 a.m. Several classes of races are available based on age and skill level. Racers will be able to take in the natural splendor and views, and a lucky few may also spot some wildlife.
