Come to Budbreak Wine & Craft Beer Festival in Yadkin Valley on August 28

YADKINVILLE, NC - The yearly Budbreak Wine and Craft Beer Festival will present a sampling of North Carolina's top wineries and breweries in the historic Mount Airy district on Saturday, August 28th.

It features 16 different tasting booths and live music from a rising Nashville musician, all for only $20. (in advance). In addition to that, the cuisine at the BBQ food tent will be provided by the Main Street eateries.

Shelton Vineyards, North Carolina's largest family-owned estate vineyard, is among the wineries on the list, as is Golden Road Vineyards, Yadkin Valley's newest winery. Old North State Winery, Catawba Farms, Hidden Vineyard, Round Peak Vineyards, Waldensian Winery, Sanders Ridge, Southern Charm, Herrera Vineyards, Surry Cellars, and Stardust Cellars will be joining them.

Fourth Creek Brewing, Foothills Brewing, Skull Camp Brewing, and Midsummer Brewing are among the breweries on the menu. Stardust Cellars will also have mead available.

"The center of Yadkin Valley, North Carolina's premier wine-producing region, is host to this celebration that also incorporates outstanding food vendors, great music, and a picture-perfect backdrop of the Blue Ridge Mountains," says festival director Bob Meinecke.

Born and raised just across the Virginia state border in Cana, Will Jones will headline the upcoming festival with Will Jones Band from Nashville. Also, Dancing tracks before Jones have been produced by a DJ.

The Mount Airy Rotary offers a 20% discount on festival tickets to promote early bird purchases, and the sales will be available online. Admission is $25 when you buy it at the gate. Tickets that do not taste anything cost $5.

Two incredible shows are lined up for Friday and Saturday night at the Blackmon Amphitheatre in Mount Airy. There will be two bands at the festival this weekend: Too Much Sylvia and Cassette Rewind.
