Nebraska football is making a hard push for 2024 five-star quarterback Dylan Raiola. That was extremely evident Friday, as they brought every single assistant coach to Arizona to visit him. This was first reported by Rivals.com’s Greg Smith.
Raiola goes to Chandler High School in Chandler, Ariz. He is the top player in the 2024 class, and has an extensive offer sheet that includes the likes of Georgia, Nebraska, USC, and Alabama. Out of those names, Georgia and Nebraska seem to be the front runners
He would be an absolute game-changer for Nebraska football, as they look to land their first commitment of the 2024 recruiting class. In addition to just his talent, he would be a cornerstone recruit for this Nebraska football coaching staff. They have made it clear that they want him in the fold, and bringing every assistant coach down to visit him is proof of that.
His skill is undeniable. He measures in at six-foot-three, 220 pounds. Raiola is a pocket-passer. He has the arm strength to match his skill set, and has tremendous vision. He looks downfield and finds the open man quickly, which leads to big plays. Precision passing is also a major part of his game. He is able to get the ball into tight windows, and can also lead his receivers with ease.
The quarterback would undoubtedly be a cornerstone commitment for Matt Rhule, as he looks to land his first signature recruit as Nebraska football head coach.
Currently, Nebraska football has zero commitments in the 2024 class. Raiola would be a cornerstone recruit of the class. He is not only the type of player that would be able to help Nebraska football right away, he has the type of talent that you can build a class around.
This new development on Friday is certainly a strong effort by the Nebraska football coaching staff. Raiola is the type of recruit that Nebraska football needs to have if they want to turn this program around. The staff is treating him as such.
