Jillian Martin was sent to Mount Isa Hospital's stillborn unit when her water broke at 20 weeks, so she could prepare to say goodbye.Isaiah, her "miracle" boy, is still defying the odds thirteen months later as he takes his first steps.

Isaiah, now 13 months old, is characterised by his mother as "a little terror." While he has high-functioning cerebral palsy, retinopathy of prematurity (eye disease), and chronic lung disease, he is taking his first steps anyway.

The birth of a male larger one-horned rhino calf has been reported by Taronga Western Plains Zoo. Hari, which is Nepalese for "sun," is the species' second calf to be born in Australia. Taronga Western Plains is Australia's only zoo has this kind of rhino. Hari's arrival comes after the zoo welcomed Sabi Star, a female black rhino calf, earlier this year.

The greater one-horned rhino is a vulnerable species that can be found in North-Eastern India. There are around 3,700 in the wild. Each pregnancy lasts roughly 15 to 16 months, and the species only has one calf every four years.

Josiah Colton is educating people about how they can all help to safeguard the environment. The 10-year-old from New York uses social media to provide eco-friendly advice on topics ranging from energy and water conservation to gardening best practises.

He's also a company owner; in 2018, he launched J Go Green, a recycling programme that collects bottles and cans from local businesses every Saturday. Colton donates 10% of the revenues to Charity Water, an organisation dedicated to ensuring that no one goes without safe drinking water.
