Here's good news for those seeking to make extra money from their old electronic devices!
According to this report, Walmart has a program that allows users to trade-in their popular electronic devices, including old cell phones, tablets, video games and consoles, laptops, GPS units, MP3 players, and even cameras.
This Walmart trade-in website lists devices by category and manufacturer and even lists a potential trade-in value based on the condition of the device.
To trade-in your device through this Walmart program, you need to first fill out the online appraisal forms, pack up your items and ship them to Walmart. Shipping is free, and once received, the retailer appraises the items.
The trade-in value of devices fluctuates and customers can only receive up to 97% of the original card’s face value.
The minimum and maximum trade-in value for a device depends on the device’s condition and model. Depending on the device you trade-in, you could be offered less or more money for your item.
This Walmart program allows users to trade-in their popular electronic devices, including old cell phones, tablets, video games and consoles, laptops, GPS units, MP3 players, and even cameras.
The program even accepts broken or cosmetically flawed electronics as long as they appear on their "Model Name" list.
It can take two to four weeks for items to be processed and for the program participants to be paid after they receive your items.
Participants in the program will receive an instant Walmart eGift Card after their products are evaluated and they will be notified via email. They can use the funds on the official Walmart website or Sam’s Club website. Enjoy and share this!
