The excitement is building up as Plainfield North High School (PNHS) prepares for its commencement ceremony on May 20, 2023, at the PNHS grounds.
The event promises to be awe-inspiring, filled with moments of joy, pride, and celebration.
The graduating class, consisting of 561 students, will don their caps and gowns to mark the end of their high school journey.
This year’s graduation, taking place at 10 a.m., is expected to be bigger and better than previous ones, thanks to the ramp-up of safety measures put in place.
The commencement ceremony will be held in an open-air football field, allowing for safe exit routes. Students, parents, and staff members who attend will observe safety guidelines, and wearing a mask is optional.
The keynote message for the PNHS graduation ceremony will be given by Barbara Seiden, a member of the Board of Education who epitomizes the rigor, hard work, and dedication that the students have shown throughout their high school career.
Seniors at PNHS have expressed great joy and satisfaction to be able to walk across the stage and receive their diplomas after having faced unprecedented academic and personal challenges over the past couple of years.
Many students have expressed their relief to be done with high school and excited to move on to the next chapter of their life.
The Plainfield North High School graduation ceremony on May 20, 2023, promises to be an unforgettable event for the students, their families, and their teachers.
Congratulations to Jenell S Reyes and all the graduating class of 2023 from their committed and supportive teachers and the entire staff at PNHS. Go Tigers!
