Walk With Us in Corona, Queens | Walking NYC, New York

We walk throughout the bustling streets of Corona to pick up some ice cream quarts and talk a little history. Did you know that the Spanish and Italian word ‘corona’ translates to ‘crown’ in English? Also, Corona was originally known as West Flushing until 1870. Our conversation somehow takes a detour when we start talking about Chinese takeout food vs. homemade Chinese food, and the fancy Pizza Huts in China, where a server takes your order. Looking forward to the day when we can travel internationally again to order stuffed cheesy pizza crusts and eat our hearts out.
