Is this Vermont's Most Dramatic Road - Smugglers Notch

Join us on a drive through Smugglers Notch. We visited Vermont in June 2020 and wanted to drive to the top of Mount Mansfield, but the opening was delayed due to COVID-19. So we took a drive through the beautiful Smuggler’s Notch and stopped at a few places to explore. Even our 13-year-old Beagle, Shiloh, joined us for some exploring! Smugglers Notch, named after the smugglers that moved supplies through the mountains during the War of 1812, passes through the Green Mountains in Vermont. Take in the scenery of the breathtaking forests while you drive, or take advantage of the many pull-offs and hike the mountains. The majestic beauty of the Green Mountains will leave you in awe.
