Make a bouquet of paper flowers to decorate the table or gift your teacher in just a few simple steps.
- constructioon paper
- craft stick
- printable template
Trace and cut out the pieces using the template. You will need 4 rectangles to make the flower.
Take a rectangle piece and fold all four corners in toward the middle.
Fold it in half with the folded corners on the inside of your fold.
Fold it in half again so that the edges and corners meet.
Open it back up and place a line of glue along the open edge of your shape (not the creased edge). Fold it back down and allow the glue to dry completely. Repeat these steps for the remaining three rectangles.
Line up the creased edges of your pieces and glue them together.
Cut out the leaves and the center circle of the flower.
Open up the flower shape and glue the last sides together.
Hold the flower shape together, pinching the sides, until it dries.
Glue the flower onto a craft stick. Glue the leaves and the center of the flower.
Make enough flowers for a bouquet to set on the table or tie a few with a ribbon to give to a special teacher.
