ST. PAUL, MN - A full-time Animal Services officer position is available in The Saint Paul Animal Control Center, which is located at 1285 Jessamine Ave. W. Anyone who meets the job requirements is welcomed to apply for this position.

Candidates must have five years of experience working as an animal control officer work to include leading team activities, providing animal welfare and control, conducting investigations, and enforcing regulations, or four years of experience performing as an animal control officer work to include leading team activities, providing animal welfare, and control, conducting investigations and enforcing regulations.

At least one year of education in veterinary technology, animal science, biology, criminal justice, or a similar field is also required. Additionally, this position also requires you to obtain and maintain authorization from the SPAC veterinarian of record to euthanize animals within three months of the appointment.

A valid Minnesota Class D Driver's License and advanced Animal Control Officer/Animal Services Certification within one year of hire are also required.
