Making your way in STEM with Little Women of Color Minnesota

MINNESOTA, MN - Little Women of Color is a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics focused group in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, that brings together aged 7-12 of Black, Indigenous, People of Color for connection and community on a regular basis.

The focused group has the vision to encourage girls of color around the world to believe that they are brave, gorgeous, and powerful, with the hopes of reducing self-esteem issues and promoting interest in typically male-dominated Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) careers.

Positive self-image and STEM education are at the forefront of their discussions and activities. These activities are done through frequent virtual and in-person meetings and ongoing exposure to women of color in STEM.

Little Women of Color is a growing, expanding organization, and they are now looking for more help to continue to do so. It is opening several volunteer opportunities.
