CLEVELAND, OH — This summer, Lakeland Community College is welcoming their new and returning students in its "Welcome Days" events on July 21, August 3 and August 18, from 3 - 7 p.m., as well as August 12, from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Students enrolling in the new academic year in the fall semester will be given a chance to explore campus life and learn about campus facilities to help them adapt. As part of the event, Lakeland Community College will also hold campus tours where attendees can join on a tour around the campus facility.

There will be workshop sessions and other programs to help students deciding their educational journey. A variety of topics, such as getting involved on campus, success strategies, online learning, transfer opportunities, honors program, and learning about the future possible careers, will be available to explore.

Students can also have several breakout sessions with College Credit Plus (CCP) students (and their parents), adult learner students (25 years or older), recent high school graduates, and military veterans.

"Initially, these summer events were developed to welcome students and enhance the online orientation with an opportunity for an on-campus experience for those seeking in-person interactions. The events have expanded to connect students with personalized campus support, meet other new and returning students, and to create excitement for the upcoming academic year," said associate director for strategic initiatives and campus engagement, Christina Corsi.

If you are interested to enrol at Lakeland, it is waiving the application fee. Contact or visit for more information or visit to complete the new student application.
