CLEVELAND, OH — The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is searching for a skilled HRIS professional to join its Human Resources Team in the capacity of HRIS Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the Oracle and other Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and Time & Attendance System, including developing and modifying personal computer applications to enhance automation processes and procedures throughout the Human Resources Division.
  • Serves as the liaison, project manager, and primary contact with the information systems departments, software companies, and other HRIS and timekeeping and attendance systems, etc.
  • Leads, coordinates, initiates and participates in streamlining workflow procedures, process re-engineering, upgrades, testing, and training for Oracle, Kronos and other HRIS.
  • Communicates system modifications and enhancements to end-users and information systems group, as applicable.
  • Ensures the control of security to the HRIS and Time & Attendance system.
  • Assists with the development of the strategic plan for consolidation of HR systems and applications and the advancement of technology.

Minimum Requirements

  • Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or related area.
  • Applicants must have at least four years in human resources with technical and supervisory experience working with HRMS or HRIS for a medium to large organization.
  • Applicants must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Applicants must have experience working with Oracle HRMS Database, PeopleSoft, other related HRIS, and Kronos (or similar time and attendance system) software to maximize the efficiency of human resources processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications such as Word, Excel, Access, and query tools, along with other report writing tools such as Crystal

Reports or similar applications are required.

  • Knowledge of relational databases is strongly preferred.
