The collaboration will commence with an exciting eight-week in-store promotion called "Raise a Glass to Freedom." From Memorial Day, May 29, to July 23, Pizza Inn customers will have the opportunity to purchase collectible drinking glasses that pay tribute to the American spirit.

Brandon Solano, CEO of RAVE Restaurant Group, Pizza Inn's parent company, expressed pride in the partnership with Wounded Warrior Project, stating,

"We are proud to join forces with Wounded Warrior Project to provide life-changing programs and services to America's injured veterans and their families. This partnership allows us to come together for the greater good of our community."
"As a hometown brand that has been bringing people together since 1958, we want to take our customers back to a simpler time when everyone gathered at the local buffet to enjoy a family dinner with their neighbors. On this day of remembrance for those who sacrificed their lives in service to our country, we can unite to support an organization that truly honors our veteran community." Solano added.

During the promotion, Pizza Inn customers will have the chance to purchase limited-edition collectible drinking glasses that pay tribute to the American spirit. Each glass is priced at $1.50, with fifty cents from every sale going directly to Wounded Warrior Project. The glasses are available in four unique designs, each representing a different aspect of American unity and camaraderie.

Each collectible glass features a motto that symbolizes unity and harmony among Americans. The mottos were carefully chosen to emphasize camaraderie, cooperation, and coming together for a cause that resonates with everyone.

Pizza Inn provided explanations for the meaning behind each glass's motto:

  • Glass 1: "United We Stand" - Depicting the iconic image of U.S. Marines raising the American flag on Iwo Jima, this motto signifies the strength that comes from unity among all Americans.
  • Glass 2: "We Can Do It!" - Featuring Rosie the Riveter, a symbol of women who took on new roles in factories and shipyards during World War II, this motto encourages the country to unite for the greater good.
  • Glass 3: "We the People" - Pizza Inn believes that the Declaration of Independence remains an enduring blueprint for our nation. The first line of the Declaration emphasizes the unity and solidarity of the American people.
  • Glass 4: "One Nation, Under God, Indivisible" - Pizza Inn promotes the idea that as humans and Americans, we are profoundly connected. This motto recognizes that we are one nation, one people, and our belief in a higher power provides us with perspective, hope, and love for ourselves and others.

Brea Kratzert Todd, WWP Vice President of Business Development, expressed gratitude for Pizza Inn's commemoration of those who made the ultimate sacrifice and their commitment to honoring and empowering wounded warriors.

We are grateful for Pizza Inn's commemoration of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice, and for their commitment to honoring and empowering wounded warriors. This support helps Wounded Warrior Project provide free, life-changing programs and services in mental health, career counseling, long-term rehabilitative care, and policy advocacy to warriors and their families.

Pizza Inn plans to continue supporting Wounded Warrior Project throughout the year by organizing various campaigns aimed at engaging people in the communities surrounding their restaurants.

Unlike typical pizza shops or buffets, Pizza Inn takes pride in crafting pizzas with fresh, house-made dough each morning. Their commitment to quality is evident in every pizza they create, using high-quality ingredients such as 100% house-shredded whole-milk mozzarella cheese and a variety of traditional and unique toppings.
