What to do for Memorial Day 2021 in Memphis

Memorial Day is a time to honor the veterans we have lost. It's also often a time to spend time with our families. Below are things you can do to celebrate this weekend.

Friday, May 28: 

The Memphis ensemble presents a definitive show of its Orchestra Unplugged arrangement this Thursday and Friday at the Halloran Center in midtown Memphis. Director Robert Moody and along these lines the orchestra will perform music that investigates crafted by Dr. Luther ruler, Jr. Tickets are nearly sold out.

Another clothing and way of life shop in South Main will have a great opening this Memorial Day Weekend in Memphis. ODDS Atelier will have a ribbon cutting on Friday at 11 a.m. at 304 S. Central avenue, trailed by a 7:30 p.m party with free mixed drinks, tidbits, and music.

Shelby Farms Park has their week after week Canoe + Cocktails occasion on Friday night, a guided nightfall paddle in Hyde Lake. Tickets are $75 for 2 individuals and in this manner the occasion is 21+.

On Friday night, country entertainer Raelyn Nelson includes a show at Hernando's Hide-A-Way.

Saturday, May 29:

Memphis In May's Great American River Run might be a half-long distance race/10K/5K race in midtown Memphis with a gigantic after party.

Memphis Pride Fest will commend the Memphis LGBQT+ people group on Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend with a vehicle procession march going through midtown and downtown Memphis. The train begins at 2 p.m. inside the First Congo stopping zone and goes down Cooper Street, Poplar Ave., and down Beale Street, and can be shot for spilling at the following end of the week's Memphis Virtual Pride Fest. The Hi-Tone has an evening time jazz informal breakfast each Sunday late evening beginning at 5 p.m. There's no cover, food specials, and unrecorded music or a DJ.

On Beale Street, Jerry Lee Lewis Cafe has a Memorial Day Bottomless Brunch on Sunday beginning at 3 p.m.

Monday, May 31:

Young Ike Diddy's Memorial Day BBQ, Railgarten, Monday, May 31, entryways at 3 p.m. - until, 21 and up Expect a pressed victory party at Railgarten this Monday with food, games, unrecorded music, DJs, merchants, and a Greek walk around.
