I grew up right outside Raleigh, NC in Cary as a kid. I lived in several places as a child (computer business kid), but right outside Raliegh was definitely my favorite. Who would want to trade being so close to both the ocean and the mountains?? I've always thought that if I had the chance to move back to Raleigh or one of its suburbs, I would.
