Breast cancer usually begins to spread to the lobule cells, which are the milk-producing glands, or to the milk ducts, where milk travels from the lobules to the nipples. Pathological reports indicate that the cancer has spread to the outer parts of the breast ducts or breast lobules.

Non-invasive cancers remain in the mammary ducts and breast lobules. This type of cancer does not grow and does not spread to normal breast tissue or outside the breast. Non-invasive cancers are sometimes referred to as local or precancerous carcinomas.

Invasive cancers grow in normal and healthy breast tissue. Most breast cancers are invasive. If breast cancer is invasive or non-invasive, each has different treatments and patients experience different treatments.

In some cases, invasive or non-invasive breast cancer can be seen in a sample taken from the breast. This means that part of the cancer has spread to normal tissues and part of the cancer has remained inside the mammary ducts and lobules. This type of cancer is treated with invasive cancer treatment.

Breast cancer can be called a tumor mix, which means that a combination of cancer cells is found in the cells of the lobules and ducts. This type of cancer is known as invasive breast cancer or infiltrative carcinoma. This cancer is treated as ductal carcinoma.

Types of breast cancer

If there is more than one tumor in the breast, breast cancer is known as multifocal or multisentric. In multifocal breast cancer, all tumors are made up of the source or primary tumor and usually accumulate in the same part of the breast. If the cancer is multisentric, it means that the tumors form separately and are often in different parts of the breast.

Most cases of breast cancer fall into one of the following categories:

Localized carcinoma of the larynx that is non-invasive and remains inside the larynx.

Localized lobular carcinoma in which cells grow abnormally inside the lobules and their growth remains in the same place. This does not mean cancer, but rather increases the risk of cancer in the future.

Invasive laryngeal carcinoma, which is the most common type of breast cancer and is highly invasive, begins to grow in the lactate and attacks healthy tissues around the breast.

Uncommon types of invasive carcinomas, including medullary, tubular, mucinous, papillary, and cribiform carcinomas. In these cases, the cancer cells behave differently.

Inflammatory diseases of the breast that begin with redness and swelling of the breasts.

Breast cancer in men, which is rare but occurs and is most often ductal carcinoma.

Nipple cancer is a rare type of cancer in which cancer cells accumulate around the nipple.

Fillod tumors, which are rare breast tumors that grow in the connective tissue of the breast or stroma, grow rapidly and are leaf-shaped. Some of these tumors are cancerous and some are not.

Metastatic or recurrent breast cancer is breast cancer that spreads to other parts of the body and recurrs even after the cancer has been treated.
