You can soon get mac and cheese ice cream at Walmart in Texas, but you don’t have to wait until then

Sometimes you need a quick pick-me-up. Maybe a treat will do it. If a serving of macaroni and cheese comforts you, and a dip of ice cream makes you happy, what about combining the pleasures? You can get both in one scoop.

Van Leeuwen brings Kraft Macaroni and Cheese ice cream to Walmart stores in Texas and across the nation.

How do they make ice cream taste like mac and cheese, you wonder? Van Leeuwen does it with buttery cheese.

Maybe that’s not your preferred ice cream flavor. What about a pint of Pizza? Does that make your mouth water? It’s on the list of seven flavors coming to Walmart.

According to Wine and Cheese Magazine, Pizza is a “delicious cream cheese and mozzarella ice cream with a tomato jam swirl and basil crust cookies.”

Walmart will also stock Hot Honey, Planet Earth, Royal Wedding Cake, Wild Blueberry Shortcake, and Berries Cherry Jubilee ice cream. They will rotate the stock this summer.

But you don’t have to wait until then to get a variety of flavors. Van Leeuwen ships nationwide. Vegan Churros and Fudge, Peanut Butter Brownie Chip, and Praline Butter Cake are among the many options the company offers.

Plus, their ice cream scoop shop is coming soon to 3699 McKinney Avenue in Dallas. Three of the shops have already opened in Houston.

The ice cream is also available in major grocery stores such as Whole Foods and Sprouts, per their website.

Van Leeuwen started in a yellow truck with a mission “to make good ice cream that makes you feel good.” From all indications, that’s what they’re doing—and they’re doing it well.
