The Historic Frijole Ranch & Manzanita Spring at Guadalupe Mountains National Park

This area of Guadalupe Mountains National Park was such a surprise! A beautifully preserved ranch constructed in the 1800's. The Frijole Ranch Museum is open seasonally, when staff or volunteers are available. This property includes the old school house and a spring house that was used to house and protect the spring. This area also includes a short 1/2 mile walk to Manzanita Spring showed in this video. Please note that this area along with all trails at Guadalupe Mountains National Park are currently closed due to the extreme fire risk. We visited in March. Put this on your list for a cooler time of year when the fire restrictions are lifted.
