In this video we visit the Guadalupe Mountains National Park in Texas. This is the first video in a series of videos highlighting various hikes in the area. We start out at the Visitors Center and hike the Pinery Trail to the Pinery Butterfield Stage Station Ruins. This is a short (3/4 mile) paved hike from the visitors center. At this stop you can see the ruins of a stage station of the Butterfield Overland Mail used in 1858. Guadalupe Mountains National Park is located approximately 50 miles from Carlsbad, NM and 113 miles to El Paso.
