Sitting Bull Falls Recreation Area near Carlsbad, New Mexico

Sitting Bull Falls Recreation Area is located just one hour from Carlsbad, New Mexico. This area features a beautiful waterfall and several clear pools of turquoise water to enjoy and a very nice picnic area. This area is for day use area- be sure to check the hours before making the drive to be sure the entry gate isn't closed when you arrive. It is $5 per vehicle. The picnic areas are very well maintained and the restrooms have running water. Plan on making the time to visit Sitting Bull Falls next time you are in this part of New Mexico!
