Smoky Mountain National Park - Cades Cove- What to Expect
Cades Cove is an 11 mile one-way scenic loop on the West Side of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Tennessee. The valley was home to numerous settlers before the formation of the National Park. Here you will find numerous homesteads, churches, beautiful meadows and abundant wildlife. In this video I'll show you what to expect if you plan to visit. I recommend entering the National Park through Townsend with a lot less traffic than Gatlinburg. If you have time, I do recommend also visiting the Smoky Mountain Heritage Center, preserving the history of the Native Americans that once inhabited the area.
