(Castle Rock, CO) Douglas County school district’s new Legacy campus will house Colorado’s only statewide teacher and special provider recruitment fair on March 4. The event, hosted by the Colorado Association of School Executives (CASE), brings together candidates and employers for on-site interviews and networking opportunities.
According to the association, “The Colorado Educator Recruitment Fair is open to all candidates who are eligible for or have a current Colorado of Department of Education license or are eligible for alternative licensure.”
Approximately 65 school districts will have representatives on hand, allowing candidates to explore opportunities throughout the state.
With an ongoing teacher shortage and districts competing to recruit from a limited pool, the fair is an opportunity for educators to explore options in urban, suburban, and rural communities.
According to CASE, districts may be offering contracts or letters of intent.
Online registration is open now through March 2, 2023.
