In honor of the upcoming Pride Month, we want to recognize an establishment in the Poconos that caters to the LGBTQ community and share more about Rainbow Mountain Resort. I have been to Rainbow Mountain Resort, and it is a gem. We had a sit down with Manager Jenny Urena, as she told us about Rainbow Mountain:

Q: Jenny, Thank you so much for your time today! Would you share with us a little about yourself?

A: I am a manager at Rainbow Mountain Resort, and I love my job Interaction with the guests and catering to their needs is my passion. I love putting a smile on their faces knowing they will come back soon!

Q: Jenny, Please share with us your Latin background.

A: I am from Argentina. The love I have for my country is profound, and I have an immense passion for Argentina.

Q: Jenny, tell us a little about Rainbow Mountain Resort:

A: Rainbow Mountain Resort is a friendly and diverse place. For the past eight years, I have worked here, seeing many groups come in and enjoy the all-inclusive atmosphere. At Rainbow Mountain, nobody judges people for who they are or who they like. This atmosphere brings comfort to anyone staying here.

Q: In honor of Pride Month, what events are coming up?

A: For Pride Month, we are having our Pride Weekend Kick-off, located in the Hayloft, on Friday, June 17th, from 9 pm- 2 am. DJ Charles Luis and Tracy D'Ior will be performing as well. Also, we will be hosting a Pride Pool Party Saturday, June 18th, 12 pm - 5 pm, with DJ Brad Scott and Tracy D'ior.

Q: We also hear you will be hosting Latin Nights; please share more about these hot nights!

A: On May 20-22, we will be hosting a Latin Weekend at the Hayloft and our pool. These Latin Nights will feature the latest Latin music for our guests. We host Latin nights more often over the summer, so our guests not only can enjoy some great Latin music but also the fantastic views from our resort.

The Local Markets are in the Dark About Baby Formula Delivery | When Will The Shelves Be Stocked?

In a hearing scheduled for Wednesday, Congressional leaders will ask baby formula manufacturers and government regulators what happened to the United States' supply of formula and what's preventing stores from restocking shelves. A statement released in advance of the hearing states, "In recent months, American families have experienced a supply shortage of infant formula. Reports of a shortage first began in January 2022, exacerbated by the Abbott Nutrition (Abbott) voluntary recall of certain brands of powdered infant formula in February 2022 following reports of potential Cronobacter sakazakii (Cronobacter) contamination at its Sturgis, Michigan, facility. As many as 75 percent of American caregivers partially depend on the formula to provide nutrients to their infants up to six months of age. The current shortage has been particularly acute for low-income families, rural families, and infants and children solely reliant on specialty formulas to manage metabolic, gastrointestinal, or allergic disorders."
