The Pocono Mountains can't be kept clean and green by just picking up litter every now and then. Many individuals, groups, and organizations in the Poconos continue to clean up litter around the Poconos regularly and have been doing so for many more years.

Over the last six years, the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau has invested time, funding, and resources into several ecological efforts, including our new partnership with Leave No Trace. As advocates, they want to provide resources and support for these efforts.

Tomorrow more than 520 volunteers will spread from roads to rivers across the Pocono Mountains region to clean litter as part of the Pick Up the Poconos Spring Cleanup in honor of Earth Day, organized by the Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau (PMVB).
