Miriam Cocina Latina, the popular eatery across from Klyde Warren Park in the Dallas Arts District celebrates the arrival of summer with a “Bienvenidos al Verano” party on Wednesday, June 21st from 6-9pm.
Shannon Wynne and Miriam Jimenez opened Miriam in the Dallas Arts District neighborhood situated on downtown’s Klyde Warren Park.
Offerings include shared plates, soups, salads, tacos, enchiladas, combination plates, main courses and desserts from Mexico with vegetarian options. A combination of authentic dishes and new creations are prepared using fresh ingredients as well as house-made sauces and moles prepared with bold, aromatic chiles.
A clever cocktail menu showcases a broad selection of margaritas in addition to rum and Mezcal libations, a curated list of white and red wines available by the glass as well as Mexican and local beers.
The namesake restaurant celebrates Miriam Jimenez, a restaurant veteran well-known for her tenure with Mr. Mesero and Mesero restaurants under the guidance of famed restaurateur Mico Rodriguez.

Enjoy live music from popular Latino quartet Café con Leche, popular DJ Ricki Rincon as well as artisan taco specials ($5) and The Margarita Paradise Flight featuring 3 frozen chillers ($17). Couture Cigar Car will be on site for hand rolled cigars.
The full a la carte menu including menu favorites such as ceviche, enchiladas, chile rellenos and carne aside is available in addition to the plentiful list of cervezas, margaritas and cocktails. Reservations are recommended.
