Ocean Prime Dallas Names Charlie Tkacik as Executive Chef

Ocean Prime Dallas, a renowned upscale seafood and steakhouse and Cameron Mitchell Restaurant (CMR), proudly announces the appointment of Charlie Tkacik as its new Executive Chef. With his exceptional culinary skills and passion for fine dining, Chef Tkacik brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the Uptown restaurant.

Born in Rhode Island and later relocating to Tampa at the age of 10, Tkacik considers the Northeast his home, which has greatly influenced his culinary style, particularly in seafood preparation. Additionally, during his high school years, he found mentors in his culinary instructors, who further nurtured his love for the culinary arts.

Along with his culinary education at Johnson & Wales University in North Miami, Florida and prestigious internship at Thomas Keller’s Per Se in NYC, Tkacik brings over a decade of experience to the team. Prior to this new role, the chef worked at several other culinary positions at upscale restaurants across New England, including a four-year stint at Boston icon, Grill 23 & Bar. Chef Tkacik joined Cameron Mitchell Restaurant several years ago and most recently was the Executive Sous Chef at Ocean Prime Boston before taking his new role at Ocean Prime Dallas.
