Denver Police Department seeks forensic scientist, pay up to $95,469

(DENVER, Colo.) The Denver Police Department Crime Laboratory is hiring individuals to work as entry-level Forensic Scientists. 

Qualified applicants will assist with investigating criminal cases like sexual assault, homicide and additional major crimes. This position will analyze cannabis, delta-9 THC infused products and concentrates at the Denver Crime Lab building located at 1371 Cherokee St.

Required qualifications for the position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Physics or related natural science.
  • One year of experience working in a laboratory.
  • One year of appropriate experience can be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.

The salary for the position ranges from $57,860 to $95,469 based on education and experience.
