(DENVER, Colo.) Friday's weather forecast predicts sunny and mild conditions in the Mile High City all day.
The National Weather Service in Boulder predicts Friday's high temperature will be around 47, with south to southwest winds at 5 to 9 mph and gusts of up to 15 mph.
The weather service reported that areas near Granby and Tabernash had low temperatures around -30 degrees Friday morning.
Expect breezy conditions in the mountains and the north and far eastern plains Friday.
The weather service predicts mostly clear skies in Denver Friday evening. Skies will clear into Saturday morning.
The low temperature in Denver Friday will drop to about 22 degrees. Expect southern winds of 8 mph throughout the evening.
Saturday in the Mile High City will be sunny, with temperatures reaching 53 degrees. Expect south to southwest winds of 5 to 10 mph with gusts potentially reaching 16 mph.
The weather service predicts mostly clear skies Saturday evening, with a low temperature of about 22. Expect southern winds of 6 mph.
Sunday in Denver will be sunny also, with a high temperature of 53. Anticipate southwest winds of 6 mph to become west to northwest Sunday afternoon. The weather service forecasts mostly clear skies in Denver Sunday evening, with temperatures dropping to 24 degrees.
Although Friday through Monday is expected to be dry, mild and sunny for the most part, the weather service predicts that a storm system will hit the Denver metro Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing colder temperatures and snow.
Expect temperatures to fall below zero Wednesday evening.
