(DENVER, Colo.) Circa Las Vegas CEO and owner Derek Stevens is inviting Denverites to take part in free baseball watch parties from May 10 through May 12 at ViewHouse Eatery, Bar & Rooftop located at 2015 Market St. as Nevada casinos and Denver restaurants begin to operate at 100% capacity.

According to the Los Angeles Times, on March 18, 2020, all casino and gambling operations within the state of Nevada were ordered to shut down for 30 days as the coronavirus initially broke out and surged. The order was made by Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak, additionally ordering additional nonessential businesses from bars to restaurants to close as well.

Today, nearly 14 months after Nevada's casinos closed their doors and slots, three Las Vegas casinos have been given permission to operate at 100% capacity as of Tuesday, as Nevada state regulators have been shown that no less than 80% of the casinos employees have received one shot of the coronavirus vaccine, as reported by KSNV.

Restaurants and gyms in Denver moved to 100% capacity levels on April 16, as the state implemented COVID-19 restrictions across 64 counties. The majority of Denver counties shifted to Level Blue on the COVID-19 dial, with social distancing still being maintained.

With the 2021 baseball season just getting started, Stevens is looking to have Denver locals come out and enjoy live entertainment, free drinks and giveaways at his new Las Vegas resort, Circa Resort & Casino from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday & Tuesday and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday from May 10 through May 12. Additionally, he is encouraging sports fans to download the Circa Sports Colorado app to win some bets.

The Circa Sports betting app was launched in 2019 and came to Colorado last summer, since expanding to a total of five locations in Nevada. Stevens also is the owner and CEO of the D Las Vegas, Golden Gate Hotel & Casino and Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.
